clean house

Before I was pregnant I read some internet article that said keeping a clean house was as easy as putting away whatever's out of place in a room before you leave it. The claim was that most rooms, most of the time would take a maximum of two minutes to tidy. The article was simple. I was convinced.

There was an aside though — tossed in there like the author spoke it over their shoulder with a smile.

Unless you have a toddler.

“Har, har,” I thought. “Who has a toddler?”
